I'm at a lan party right now. It's actually pretty fun, although we're not really playing games, just sharing music (It's very legal! I wouldn't talk about it if it weren't). there actually aren't that many people, but it's kind of nice. lan parties get hectec very easily. The only thing that's been really irritating is that my computer decided to stop working when somebody put a music C.D. in. But other than that, It's been working nicely. like it should. But that aside, it's fun to get some friends, watch funny youtube videos, and listen to good music!

Lan parties are always great. If you ever do play games at them and everyone has Half Life 2 I would recommend trying Hidden: Source. Mainly one person is 'the hidden' and the rest are soldiers trying to kill him. As the name suggests the Hidden is almost invisible, but only has a knife to stab people and a few nades. While the soldiers have some pretty nifty weapons. If you play it in the dark it can get frightening and really fun. It takes a lot of practice to get good at the game, but its really fun no matter the skill level.
